I'm incredibly late to the Bottega Louie train. Oh,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], how I wish this restaurant was located in Brentwood or Santa Monica! It's been on my "List " for about a year now, but the fact that its located downtown means it's not somewhere I'll be driving M-F. After a lovely morning at the flower mart, my husband spontaneously suggested we try BL for brunch. I had always envisioned this as more of a dinner place- but agreed to try it on the stipulation that no matter what we MUST come back for dinner.
Bottega Louie blew me away!!! The menu was perfect,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it offered a wide variety of healthy and appetizing options. All very affordable too! The food was delicious, the decor was phenomenal, and the dessert case as you're walking in/out? DONE AND DONE. Service was personal and attentive, but not over-bearing. I loved the Open Kitchens. We sat next to the pizza station and had fun watching the guy make these incredibly fresh looking pizzas. I could smell the fresh basil from my table,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
