| Nice but small sports bar with DJ's spinning on weekends. Food selection is limited to appetizers but they have a happy hour every day from 3-7 with three buck appetizers. These are much small mini versions of their regular apps, but at least it gives you a chance to graze through the menu. Mini Crab Cakes are fried and fair and Wings are tasty but nothing you haven't had anywhere else. Nice they include carrots as well as celery. Nice touch. Drinks do not have happy hour prices so my beer cost more than my two apps. Service is OK but If you are a local Westsider,dr dre beats, Angeleno,dre dre headphones, or even a Southern Californian and you want to hang in Santa Monica with other locals,marlboro lights cigarettes, Pourtal provides the perfect escape from the tourist. And great wine. |
