Making Your Author Bio Exciting
Making Your Author Bio ExcitingShare this Blog Entry: After reviewing a hundred recently updated author bio8217;s today, it8217;s clear that many authors are missing an excellent opportunity to leverage the publicity their author bio can create for themselves. This is not to be confused with the RESOURCE BOX at the end of any article, but rather the extended author bio that we display for any author that uploads their photo. Example: Check out Cecil McIntosh8216;s excellent author bio to see which bio I8217;m talking about. Here are 6 new tips to help you improve your EzineArticles extended author bio:1) Be brief, and get to the point about what you can offer an ideal client of yours.2) Your bio should be 20% about you sharing your personality / life with the reader and 80% of what you can offer them if they are an ideal client of yours.3) Don8217;t list every non-relevant accomplishment you8217;ve won or earned to date. If you must list any, choose the single best one that illustrates your credibility.4) Ask a pre-qualifying question of your reader to better help them know if you are going to be right for them.5) End with a call to action or tell them how you can be reached if they want to find you8230;but don8217;t give your email address or phone number. Instead, tell them to click on your website link above from one of the 5 defined URL fields we allow each author to include in their extended author bios.6) Include a recent author photo with your bio. If you don8217;t have the time to do it right (getting a professional photographer to take professional shots of you), then at least get a family member to snap a few digital photos of yourself and upload it. Better to have something than nothing. Thanks! :-)
Many years ago there lived an Emperor who was so exceedingly fond of fine new clothes that he spent vast sums of money on dress. To him clothes meant more than anything else in the world. He took no interes
