ThebendingexperimentsindicatedthatthestainlesssteelsubstrateMgB2thickfilmsamplescankeeptheirsuperconductingpropertiesnochangeuntilthesampleswerebentto180witha500 ~ mcurvatureradius. ThecrosssectionSEMpresentedthatthethickfilmwasdensewithoutinterface. ThesurfaceSEMindicatedthatthefilmadheredtothesubstrateverywel1. althoughasmallpartofthesurfacewasdroppedafieritwaentto180. TheseresultsindicatedthatthestainlesssteelsubstrateMgB2thickfilmpossessedgoodductilityandhadstrongprospectonpotentialapplication.
