Lincecum was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 48 round of the 2003 MLB Draft; however he did not sign up for the team. He decided to attend college instead and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 42 round on entering the draft in 2005,John Tavares Jersey, but once again failed to sign. In 2004,Carlos Tevez, he was drafted tenth overall by the San Francisco Giants becoming the first player from the University of Washington to be taken in the first round. He signed for a 2.025 million dollars signing award on June 30,Steven Stamkos Jersey, which at the time was the highest amount the organization had ever paid to any amateur player until they gave 2.1 million dollars to Angel Villalona a little over a month later. I’m following the updates from Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi over at FoxSports.com,Roberto Luongo Jersey, and last night,Ilya Kovalchuk Jersey, the two reported a blockbuster deal centered around Curtis Granderson was in the works between the Yankees, Tigers and DiamondBacks. Here’s what they were discussing:

He’s only 29 years old. He’ll only cost the Yankees USD25.75 million for the following three years a distinctive difference from Damon’s expected deal. He’s a lefty with power. In Yankee Stadium,Johan Franzen Jersey, that equals a lot of cheapo-home runs. He’s got great vilocity. He’s got great defense in center field and would move Melky Cabrera’s powerful arm to left. The Giants asked Lincecum not to throw the bullpen sessions typical of other pitchers during the off season. Manager Bruce Bochy told the San Francisco Chronicle that they were being careful with Lincecum because there have been studies that show that pitchers who throw 200 innings early in their career were more susceptible to injuries.
I believe this trade is near even,Wesley Sneijder Jersey, conspicuously depending on the prospects the Yankees would be getting from the D’Backs.
Granderson would be a great get for the Yankees.
• The Yankees would receive Granderson from the Tigers and one or two prospects from the Diamondbacks.
• The Diamondbacks would get Jackson from the Tigers and right-hander Ian Kennedy from the Yankees.
But Lincecum was a little ticked off with the Tigers taking both lefties from the Yankees. I’d prefer if the Yankees could replace Coke or Dunn with a righty like David Robertson.

• The Tigers would get right-hander Max Scherzer from the Diamondbacks, and center fielder Austin Jackson and left-handed relievers Phil Coke and Michael Dunn from the Yankees.
