WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. &ndash; Reynolds American Inc. <br />(RAI) said that it has reached an agreement to sell Lane Ltd. to Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S (STG),<a href="http://www.cheap-marlborocigarettes.com" target="_blank" class="postlink">marlboro cigarettes coupons</a>, a global company based in Denmark. Under terms of the transaction,<a href="http://kellyfelsted.com/node/20#comment-74954" target="_blank" class="postlink">cheap marlboro cigarettes coupons</a>, STG has agreed to pay $205 million in cash for Lane. Although female numbers pale in comparison to China&rsquo;s overall staggering tobacco consumption, female smokers are indeed on the rise. <br />Dong has definitely noticed the change. “Over the past six years I&rsquo;ve noticed, particularly in Shanghai, a large number of women smoking to deal with increasing pressures of city life with some, not all, making the change to cigars.” Statistically, women have a higher rate of quitting smoking, or at least a motivation to do so and “Cigar Ambassador” research has found that 65 percent of former cigarette smokers have made the switch to cigars as a means to reduce the amount they smoke. There is no insurance for the treatment of smoking-related diseases. <br />The 2008 government health profile showed 60 percent of deaths in Indonesia were caused by non-communicable diseases &ndash; including smoking &ndash; an increase from 48.5 percent in 2001. Worldwide, non-communicable diseases caused almost 60 percent of deaths and 43 percent of the disease burden a decade ago,<a href="http://www.cheap-marlborocigarettes.com" target="_blank" class="postlink">marlboro cigarettes</a>,<a href="http://www.kinomuza.fora.pl/inne,6/cheap-marlboro-cigarettes-online-supplier,56988.html#57716" target="_blank" class="postlink">cheap marlboro cigarettes online supplier</a>, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
