European Union is considering a proposal to prohibit image on cigarette packs, including logos and colors, obliging cigarette manufacturers to sell their products in plain, black-and-white packages.
Under to the introduced measure, packages of cigarettes and other tobacco products would have to carry a health warning and the name of the brand, written in plain letters.

He mentioned that cigarette companies pay billions each year for the usage of their trademarks.
