Temat postu: Sporting Should the Green Bay Packers Trade for Ma

Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has been rumored around a possible trade to Green Bay. Lynch was quarterback Aaron Rodgers' teammate in college at California, and Rodgers recently said he would like the Packers to trade for Lynch.
In today's game against the Bills, Jackson had 11 carries for 29 yards, averaged 2.6 yards per carry, and scored a touchdown. Fullback John Kuhn actually led the team in rushing with 36 yards on nine rushes.
Third, on Sunday against the Bills, the running game scored a few touchdowns, but looked a little nonexistent at times as the Packers passed the ball the majority of the time. This could show the Packers that maybe they should look at other running backs if they're not content with what they have now, and satisfied that Jackson and Kuhn can play at a high level all season.
Here's why the Packers should look at trading for running back Marshawn Lynch.
There you have it. Now what do you think the Packers should do? Are the Packers fine with Brandon Jackson, or should they go out and acquire a running back like Marshawn Lynch? The NFL originated in 1946 with 11 teams, and through a sequence of team expansions, reductions,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and relocations currently consists of 30 teams. The United States is home to 29 teams and one is located in USA. The Boston Bruins have won the most championships with 17 NFL Finals wins. The next most successful franchise is the Los Angeles Lakers, who have 16 overall championships 11 in Los Angeles, 5 in Minneapolis, including the most recent one. Following the Lakers are the Chicago Bulls with six championships, all of them over an eight year span during the 1990s, and the San Antonio Spurs with four championships.
Today, the Packers got a first hand look at Lynch as played against the Packers. He rushed 17 times for 64 yards. He averaged 3.8 yards a carry, and did not score a touchdown. He rushed for more yards than any of the Packers running backs in Sunday's game.
Second, Marshawn Lynch is a proven back in the NFL. This is his fourth year in the league,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and his first two NFL seasons, he rushed for over 1,000 yards with the Bills. Plus,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he can score touchdowns.
In 2001 an affiliated minor league,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the National Basketball Development League,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], now called the NFL Development League or D League was created. Before the league was started, there were strong rumors that the NFL would purchase the CBA, and call it its developmental league,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as the Continental Basketball Association was its minor league affiliate for years. 20 percent of NFL players spent time in this league and over 143 players have been called up to play in the NFL. Marshawn Lynch of Buffalo Bills Rick StewartIn 2004 the Lakers returned to the Finals, only to fall in five games to the Detroit Pistons. The following off season, Kobe was traded to the Miami Heat, and the Charlotte Bobcats were established as the league 30th team. The Spurs won their third championship in 2005.
The Green Bay Packers recently lost Ryan Grant to a season-ending ankle injury, and now they have called upon Brandon Jackson, whom is a decent running back with experience in the NFL.
One other thing is the Packers recently signed running back Dmitri Nance off the Falcons practice squad. This could mean that Ted Thompson doesn't want to go out and make any trades, and just sign a players that he thinks could help the team.
Aaron Rodgers also had a rushing touchdown. Dmitri Nance also got into the game and had six yards. The rushing game scored two touchdowns, but didn't really stand out in the game, and here's why they might look to trade for Marshawn Lynch.
Jackson, a former second round pick out of Nebraska. Jackson has been the Packers third down running back, and has came in the game late when Ryan Grant was being rested.
Another possible factor in why the Packers might not want to acquire Lynch is that he has gotten in trouble with the league's substance abuse policy in the past.
First, the Packers do not know if Jackson can withstand playing the entire year as the feature back. Bringing in Lynch, the Packers could have a two back system,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and alternate the two on series to keep both healthy.
Here are possible drawbacks for the Packers in acquiring Lynch. First, Bills head coach Chan Gailey said that the Bills are fine with having Fred Jackson, Lynch, and CJ Spiller. Plus, a source said they are not interested in trading Lynch.
