Temat postu: NFL Albert Haynesworth The Tribulation Continues

He played four seasons for the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL in which he recorded increasing point totals in each year. His best year in the WHL was in 06 when he racked up 74 points in 60 games. Albert Haynesworth
Win McNamee The tag up offside rule allows for play to continue as long as all offside players are clear of the offensive zone simultaneously by touching the blue line and tag up prior to touching the puck or becoming involved in the play.
It seemed Albert Haynesworth had quieted down recently, after his failure to appear physically fit for Redskins training camp some three weeks ago.
But like any other NFL diva, Albert Haynesworth once again finds himself under the media spotlight, and yes, you guessed it, for all the wrong reasons yet again.
For those fans who aren't quite clear on what Haynesworth are unhappy about just yet, let me speed you up to date.
Following the Redskins' Week 2 clash against the Baltimore Ravens earlier today, that saw Washington go on to lose in a rather disappointing 23-3 manner, Albert Haynesworth decided to take a stab at newly appointed head coach Mike Shanahan,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and display his frustration with the coach's decisions in the game.
Upon watching the match up, some obvious things stood out, besides the large scoreline. Normally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when the first quarter are finished,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we see the majority of starting players trot off the field and call at a day.
However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for Albert Haynesworth, they found himself still on the playing field in the third quarter, much to his indiscretion and disbelief.
But before we go ahead and say that this was rather a "spur of the moment" problem, Haynesworth's controversial ways have been snowballing right from the beginning of Tuesday morning last week.
When Haynesworth failed to show up for team training on both Tuesday and Wednesday, some frustration was shown by most of the team.
Here was a guy that finally passed the fitness test, and somehow still felt it necessary to take two days off.
Of course, the alleged legitimate reason for all of this was that Haynesworth was suffering from dehydration, as Shanahan would go on to state later on in the week.
Still, like everything that Haynesworth are involved with, the problem didn't stop there, and now we find ourselves looking at a very disgruntled player who feels they has been hard done by from his coaching staff.
So are Haynesworth's complaints justified?
I mean, after all,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], this guy has missed numerous Washington activities over the past two years, and surely playing an extra two preseason quarters couldn't totally hurt him, right?
Well, that's what we all think anyway,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], even though Haynesworth himself would have you believe differently.
If we quickly go back to Haynesworth's off time last week, perhaps we get a small glimpse into how this problem came about,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and why we are facing yet another tough task in the Haynesworth saga.
When Haynesworth was asked of his time off, this are what they had to say:
"You'll have to ask them, but I guess they'll tell you 'headaches' again," said Haynesworth, choosing to use air quotation marks. "It was part of it, but it wasn't all of it. They left out a whole lot of stuff."
For the most part, it seems like there are an underlying issue here. Whether or not Mike Shanahan are to blame is, of course, questionable, but off-field drama certainly isn't what this team needed heading toward what everyone hopes to be a promising September campaign.
And what would the team have to gain out of this whole dilemma at this point in time?
"I don't know. I guess make yourself look good,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I don't know. Make me look bad for not going to their offseason conditioning program," Haynesworth went on to say. "But, I mean,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], next year I'm not coming, either. I'll be on my trainer again, and I'll get back in the same shape I'm in, and feel good about myself."
Those fans out there that have been following this story, I suggest that this are no news to you. Haynesworth has attempted to "boycott" the Redskins from the very get go, as they simply didn't agree with the transition to the 3-4 defense.
At the end of it all, this problem isn't going away, and in sport, we all know that locker-room arguments can truly affect the outcome of play in the regular season.
Hopefully, Haynesworth cools his jets a little, but it isn't likely. they felt truly annoyed about being played with a bunch of bench players today against Baltimore, and we all know that Mike Shanahan wouldn't like the big man when they are angry.
As much as Haynesworth are to blame,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the finger could be pointed toward Mike Shanahan. Why did they play Haynesworth in the third quarter? It surely wasn't necessary.
For now, the Redskins have a problem on their hands and it isn't going away. This are only another chapter in the Albert Haynesworth saga, and realistically, it are one that could stem to become quite an issue for the entire Washington Redskins organization.
