MSU To Have 'No-Bag Policy' This Fall -

Michigan State University announced Wednesday that starting this fall football fans can't bring any bags into Spartan Stadium.
"No diaper bags,no purses, no backpacks," said Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor, MSU Police.
Reporter: "what about fanny packs?"
Taylor: "No fanny packs, no anything!"
There is one exception if you use a one gallon plastic bag. But don't get too excited. That's only if you have a family or medical need.
Some people were already annoyed by bag size restrictions in the past.
"I remember even this year I had a bigger bag and I just had a camera and some other things in it and I had to walk all the way back to my dorm to drop it off," said Emily Buckel,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Spartan Football Fan.
Now with no bags allowed MSU Police say security checks will go smoother for them, and speedier for fans.[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
"We still will have individuals at each gate we still will be checking, but it will just make the process go a lot faster," said Taylor.
Still some fans are skeptical.
"A little bag's not going to take that m[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]uch time to check, what is it like one zipper if you wanna check it?" said Alexandra Michelin, Spartan Football Fan.
But police say it's all for their safety.
"I think ultimately once people get used to it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] it will make people feel safer knowing no one can bring anything in," said Richard Aufderheide, Spartan Football Fan.
